aws BoB is organised by aws Life Science Austria (LISA), a programme of Austria Wirtschaftsservice Gesellschaft mbH (aws), on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs. The competition has been held since 2000 and is conducted in collaboration with AplusB centres and international partners.

Students and scientists at universities and non-university research institutions, and anyone who is interested in the economic exploitation of innovative, application-oriented research findings and wants to translate his ideas into a professional business plan.
