As part of a call for bids, incubators are selected who act as innovation intermediaries with a focus on RTI-based start-ups (RTI = research, technology and innovation) with high growth potential in academia.  They push potential founders and accompany the start-up processes by offering qualifications and specific support.

With the aws Venture Capital Initiative we want to stimulate the financing of research- and technology-oriented start-ups and win international venture capital funds for an increased engagement in Austria.

LISA – Life Science Austria provides tailored support to life science founders and start-ups at every stage of development, strengthens Austria’s life sciences clusters, and promotes Austrian companies and research institutions globally. Early-stage start-ups can receive significant support through deep tech funding such as aws Preseed and aws Seedfinancing.
