Austria Wirtschaftsservice Gesellschaft mbH (aws) is the promotional bank of the Austrian federal government and is 100% owned by the Republic of Austria. The Federal Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism (BMWET) and the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructur (BMIMI) act as its owner representatives. The aws renders its services as part of its public mandate. Its clients include its owner representatives, the BMWET and BMIMI, as well as other Austrian federal ministries, states, public authorities and interest groups.
